Founded in 1998, Pepper is an international integrated communications agency employing people across three continents, with offices in Munich (HQ), Chicago and Singapore and expertise in B2B, finance, automotive and IT/telco.
Pepper was owned by Computershare, an Australian quoted global market leader in transfer agency and share registration, employee equity plans, proxy solicitation and stakeholder communications, with over 14,000 employees worldwide.
Iris is a global creative innovation network with over 1,000 people in 15 offices around the world, including Europe, North America, South America, Asia and the Middle East.
Following a strategic review by Computershare, Clarity was appointed as sole corporate finance advisor and identified iris as a potential acquirer.
Clarity assisted both Computershare and Pepper management in preparing, positioning and marketing the business for sale, including leading negotiations and managing complex business separation issues.
Clarity played a critical role in the success of the transaction, driving it to a successful conclusion within three months of being appointed by Computershare.
The sale of Pepper represents the second transaction successfully completed by Clarity for Computershare in less than a year.
“Clarity were instrumental in making the transaction happen.”
