Having returned from a recent trip to China where we met with strategic buyers and investors across our sectors, we decided to host a series of round table breakfast seminars aimed at sharing our learnings and insights.
In the seminars we discussed Chinese outbound M&A activity; the current state of the M&A market, the impact of capital controls as well as our view on the implications and considerations for deal making in the Media, Information and Technology sectors in 2017 and beyond.
We have had great success driving pricing on deals by including Chinese buyers in processes. A great illustration of this investment is the recent sale of Framestore to a Chinese consortium led by Cultural Investment Holdings.
