ANNUAL MARKETING INDUSTRY REPORT 2017: ‘THE EVER CHANGING LANDSCAPE’

Given the ever changing landscape of buyers in the sector, we decided this year to broaden our analysis beyond the Global Networks to include all marketing services transactions where the target was based in North America, Europe or Australasia.

The analysis has unearthed some interesting findings, not least that out of the 867 qualifying transactions there were 664 different acquirers, the Global Networks were responsible for 67 (8%) of the deals and nearly two-thirds of the transactions were targeting specific capabilities.
