Our Annual Marketing Industry Report provides a fully global overview of M&A activity in the marketing services sector.

For the first year ever in 2018 more than 50% of acquirers came from a non-marketing services heritage, a shift that we continue to witness first hand. Total number of transactions in 2018 stood at 1,080 representing an increase of 8% as compared to 2017. Specialist capabilities accounted for 64% of the total deals, with Specialist Digital and Marketing Technology being the largest subsectors.
